On March 1st and March 2nd, 2019 Vanguard Rembrandt Secondary students traveled to San Antonio, Texas to go compete at PASF. PASF (Pan-American Student Forum) is a youth organization that was founded in 1927 as a national organization. The purpose of PASF then, as now, is to offer students and teachers a better opportunity to learn more about the Americas and the Spanish speaking world. The students competed on five categories which comprise of: Listening and Comprehension Skills, Civilization, Grammar, Vocabulary, and Reading Comprehension.
The students excelled in their categories and were left with astonishing results! 2 out of the 4 who competed came back with 1st place medals! We congratulate Natalia Martinez for winning first place in Vocabulary (Level III) and Manuel He-rrera for winning first place in Listening Comprehension (Level III). Way to go Spartans!
